Farming for the Future is taking a breather in 2020.After a lot of discussion, we've decided to take a break from running the Farming for the Future seminar in 2020.
After six successful events we think now is a great time to pause, reflect on the successes of previous years, and think about what kind of event would best serve our primary sector communities going forward. Since the first event in 2014 we have seen a real shift in farming industry conversations. The environment and sustainability have gained more attention as key drivers to satisfy our international marketplace. We are proud to have been a vehicle to inspire, inform, and challenge our farming and agribusiness friends and colleagues. We have loved bringing this event to you. Thank you for your wonderful support over the last six years. From the organising crew - Phil, Scott, Esther, Angus and Heather |
Farming for the Future is an annual one-day seminar held in the Wairarapa, created by the South Wairarapa Biodiversity Group and the Mangaterere Restoration Society. Since 2014 we've been helping farmers, businesses, and organisations improve their knowledge and understanding of the natural environment, reduce their environmental footprint, and operate more sustainably.
